What is SAPA?

SAPA is a South Asian Professional Organization started in the summer of 2003.  Our events are geared to those in their mid 20's and 30's.  The events are based to network with each other on a business level (we encourage the exchange of business cards) and to interact with each other on a social level.

The first two hours of our events are like an extended "cocktail hour," in which we keep the music especially low to facilitate business and social networking.  Later, our events take on more of a party atmosphere, with great music, dancing, and conversation.

No jeans or sneakers are permitted at our events and business or business casual attire is requested.  SAPA Chicago networking events are held at the hippest venues; however, the music is never so loud that you cannot talk and the crowd is composed of entirely young professionals.
